 Why Can't All Laundry Machines Be This Cool?

        As you know doing laundry is the most boring thing of all .... but not any more! Lee Wei Chen a student at London's Kingston University has invented a totally cool new washing machine that you have to play video games on to be able to wash your cloths. To able to finish all of your laundry you have to pas particular levels on the games. The funny thing is that its just like the games in the arcades you have to put coins in and then you can play and start the laundry cycle. The new modern fashion washing machine is for Lee's project but we all hope to see it selling.

          This article is very very amusing to me. This would be very cool to show up in stores for every to buy. The awesome part would be that not only adults would use it but even kids, so that way parents will have a little  help around the house. The other thing thats very interesting is that a young man in university has created this master piece for just a project not for selling. The biggest thing of all is that I just cant wait to see this and then help my parents with laundry and also play just for fun.

Gecko-Inspired Adhesive Tape Can Hold Up An Adult And Be Re-Used!

Scientist have been inspired from a little gecko to make a new brilliant experiment. They thought of a tape that can be re-used a million times. A piece of that tape

20 cm  x 20 cm can hold the weight of adults. Its also the strongest glue.Even though it is wouldn't rip of the page it would peel of smoothly. The geckos can walk on walls without damaging because they have these tiny hairs called setea.

I really like this article because its so cool how scientists have thought of a tape that can hold you up. It would be really extraordinary if you would be able to walk on the wall or to be hanging from it. It would also be much better if the tape could be re-usable instead of always getting new tape. The really neat thing is that you can use the tape without having to mess up your hard work. I really hope to see this some were and try it.

Current Event 5

On october 28^th  in New York City the world celebrated 125^th year of existince for the Statue Of Liberty. Lady Liberty was given to america by France in 1886 as a mark of friendship beetween the two countries. Soon after that the it turned into a sighn of freedom because of the people that came to live in America to protect them self from the war. The Statue of Liberty is one of the most popular tourists destination in the world it gets 3.5 million visitors everyday. The evening was celebrated with a show of fireworks that shined the night of the 125^th Birtday of Lady Liberty

Current Event 4

The 32 year old designer Johan Ku showed his briliance by creating glow in the dark clothing. The line features elegent dresses, Shirts , pants and skirts. As soon as the sun goes down and it gets dark the clothes turn into the magical green and blue color. As you walk into the room you are guaranteed to light it up.

I really think this article is interesting and fun. It really captures my attention how the desaigner came up with these unique and stlysh  designs. I wish to see many cool and intertaining designs like Jahan Ku.

Current event 3

Japan thinks that they found a solution to natural disasters.Country’s have been dealing with all kinds of natural disasters and now there is a solution.Who would think that a giant yellow ball can help you trough horrible disaster.Well the big yellow cylinder shaped ball called the “Noah” can be the solution to natural disasters. It fits up to 4 adults and has a look out hole and also small breathing holes.It can go through the giant shakes and enormous floods and waves.
 
I think that the “Noah” is a really useful devise which can save many lives.Natural disasters are one of the most dangerous things which are accruing even more and the “Noah” can help everyone everywhere.

Current Event #2

Scientists have introduced a new breed of cats which makes their fur glow in the dark.They have also found a disease similar to HIV.Scientist were trying to find a way to heal the virus from kittens.It is found that monkey contain proteins which can kill that disease so they have injected that monkey proteins into the cats.Its also discovered that the cats are glowing because of the genes which are found in the proteins.

I think that the fact of cats glowing is cool but not the disease that they have.Its really interesting how the monkeys proteins can heal them and make the cats fur glow.I am really amuzed how possible it is to make a cat glow and only from the proteins.The scientist were just in time for Halloween when introducing a new breed of cats.

In the article “An energy lesson from panda poop”scientist from Mississippi are trying to discover new things from pandas and plants.They are wondering what hides behind panda poop.They think that the pandas poop can turn grass that the panda eats (bamboo) into fuel.Scientists are researching and are think of ways that they can use the energy from the plants.

My opinion on the article is that its very interesting.Its interesting how scientist found a way something from animals can be use in peoples everyday lives.I hope to see scientist think of plenty new stuff that people can use every day.  

Scientific Summer

The part of my scientific summer was driving a jet ski. During my vacation in Croatia I spent most of my time at sea driving jet skis with my dad. We drove around the coastline and visited some beaches. Jet skis were too fast for me to drive on my own but I still tried.

Jet skis are scientific because it has a motor engine which makes it move. Also its engine uses fuel as its energy source. This makes it one of the fastest water motor transportation's.
